We talk about honoring our ancestors in general terms but to really give them the recognition they deserve we need to know them. To do some ancestry work and learn their names. To see how far back you can actually name those ancestors. Talk to other elders who know your family and let them help you in your search for names of those magnificent family members that guide and watch over you. Knowing our past helps us understand the present.
